The above image is a section of the many color transparencies made over the 40 years from 1970 to 2010 in Texas. I starting selecting the images back in December 2010 by going through all my image archive looking for interesting photographs made in Texas.

To give room to see as many transparencies as possible I am using four light tables with 12 feet of viewing space. Starting out that amount of viewing space was not enough but now it is just right for the group showing above which is the third edit of the archive images so far.

The working title is "On Texas™" because I see the work as an essay on my living and working in the state of Texas most of my life.

Be sure to watch this page as the project continues. There maybe a book and/or exhibit as the body of work become more in focus to see the best direction to take.
